How Do You Get Married in Estes Park?

Getting married in Estes Park, Colorado is a dream for many couples thanks to its stunning natural beauty and romantic atmosphere. To make your dream wedding a reality, there are a few key steps you need to take:

  • Step 1: Obtain a Marriage License: You can do this at any Clerk and Recorder's Office in Colorado, including the one located in Estes Park. The good news is that you don’t have to be a resident of Colorado to apply, which is perfect if you’re planning an out-of-state wedding

  • Step 2: Choose Your Estes Park Wedding Venue: Estes Park offers a variety of breathtaking wedding venues. Some of the top venues include the YMCA of the Rockies, Skyview at Fall River Village, Della Terra Mountain Chateau, Taharaa Mountain Lodge, Black Canyon Inn, and, of course, The Landing at Estes Park. Each venue offers a unique setting and amenities, so you'll want to visit multiple locations and consider your guest list, budget, and personal style before making a decision.

  • Step 3: Select Your Vendors: A successful wedding relies on more than just a beautiful venue. You'll also need to select reputable vendors for your big day. Estes Park offers a host of talented professionals, from florists and photographers to caterers and DJs. Research each vendor carefully, read reviews, and meet with them in person, if possible, to ensure they can deliver the quality service you expect.

  • Step 4: Plan Your Ceremony: If you're considering getting married in Rocky Mountain National Park, be sure to plan well in advance of your desired wedding date. Due to its popularity, the park requires not only a site fee and permit but also a timed entry permit during the peak season. Also, consider the logistics of your ceremony, such as seating, sound system needs, and accessibility for your guests.

By following these steps, you can ensure your wedding in Estes Park is a memorable and stress-free occasion. And remember, whether you're planning an intimate elopement or a grand celebration, Mountainside Events is here to help bring your vision to life!
